Serve All Help All, Inc. is an established faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit homeownership preservation organization located in Costa Mesa. We are seeking a dependable, professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support our clients and management team.
This position is ideal for someone who wants more than a temporary job and is interested in developing a long-term career in the legal, real estate, mortgage banking or loss mitigation fields.
Training will be provided, but applicants should already have strong customer-service skills, basic office experience and the ability to communicate professionally with clients.
Primary Responsibilities
• Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and route incoming telephone calls
• Assist clients with basic forms and document organization
• Enter information accurately into company systems
• Scan, upload, copy and organize documents
• Generate routine reports for management
• Track incoming leads and distribute them to the appropriate department
• Schedule appointments and confirm client meetings
• Maintain front-office organization and appearance
• Assist managers and department staff with administrative projects
• Provide courteous follow-up and general customer service
Preferred Qualifications
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• At least 2 years of receptionist, administrative or customer-service experience
• Professional telephone and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attendance, punctuality and dependability
• Basic proficiency with email, Microsoft Office and data-entry systems
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
• Comfortable working with clients who may be experiencing financial or legal stress
• Willingness to learn new systems, procedures and terminology
• Interest in building a long-term professional career
Training and Advancement
The selected candidate will receive training in nonprofit administration, client intake, mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, real estate and legal-office procedures.
Advancement opportunities may be available for employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability and a desire to grow. Depending on the position and employee’s career path, the organization may also assist qualified employees in pursuing relevant professional education or state credentials.
Employment with an eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization may potentially qualify toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Eligibility depends on the employee’s federal student-loan type, repayment plan, employment status and satisfaction of federal program requirements.
